<p>Chika is an instant and privacy-centric chat service that's designed for <a href="https://delta.chat">Delta Chat</a>. Delta Chat is a secure messenger that allows people to chat with each other even if they're on different servers! This is just one of <a href="https://delta.chat/chatmail">many</a> that you can sign up for, and it has the following features:</p>
<ul>
<li>No phone numbers, email addresses, real names, etc. are needed for an account.</li>
<li>1312M of storage space for users.</li>
<li>Server keeps messages for at most 60 days.</li>
<li>People aren't allowed to send unencrypted messages.</li>
<li>It does not store IP addresses.</li>
<li>Inactive accounts are deleted after 2 years.</li>
</ul>
<p>Feel free to use <a href="https://orbot.app/">Orbot</a> or a trusted VPN when you're using this service as well for increased privacy. <p>Moved the server to a VPS in <a href="https://www.urdn.com.ua">UDN</a>. They have more flexible plans that lets me increase CPU, RAM, and disk space a little bit at a time. I also wanted to operate the server outside of my own jurisdiction to give some protection to people using this service.</p>
